Es beneficioso la playa para los perros?
Es beneficioso ya que al nadar y
caminar por la arena tonificar su musculatura.
La playa por lo regular son
sitios que son amplios en donde el perro puede jugar y correr libremente.
Al bañarse puede aliviar los
efectos de las altas temperaturas.
Compartir buenos momentos con tu
mascota fortaleciendo tu relación con ella.
Desventajas:
Evitar que tome agua de mar le
puede ocasionar vómitos o diarrea que podrían acentuar deshidratación y
problemas graves de salud
Evitar ir a la playa desde las
11am hasta las 5pm
Exposición excesiva de rayos de
sol
Fuerte oleaje
Evitar llevarlo en horas con
altas temperaturas ya que se le queman las almohadillas
Existen residuos en las playas
ejm: insectos, erizos, medusas e incluso basura. Hay que estar pendientes
debido a que pueden comerse algo que este descompuesto o le produzca alergia,
existen casos que comen algo que los envenenan y se mueren en el acto.
Recomendaciones
Te recomiendo que al llevar a tu
mascota a la playa:
Llevar un termo de agua fría o
templada
En caso de tener pelo corto
utilizar crema solar especial para perros
Dar un buen baño con agua fresca
al finalizar el baño en la playa para eliminar la arena en los ojos.
Limpiar bien las orejas con toallita húmeda o algodón
para prevenir otitis
Reposar en caso de ver sobreexcitación y así evitar golpes de calor o posibles fracturas o esguinces.
Recoger sus excrementos
Vigilar los comportamientos para
que no moleste a otros perros o a personas, ejm: es común que los perros sean
curiosos y se acerquen pasen por otras toallas, coger comida etc.
Revisar las normativas locales sobre
los horarios y las playas donde acepten perros.

Rest if you see overexcitation
and thus avoid heat stroke or possible fractures or sprains.
Collect your droppings
Monitor behaviors so that they do not bother other dogs or people, eg,
it is common for dogs to be curious and come near, pass by other towels, take
food, etc.
Check local regulations on hours and beaches where dogs are accepted.
